Firefighters extinguished a large brush fire Sunday afternoon just past 1 p.m. at Grillo Service, a mulch processing facility, according to police.
Authorities said they received multiple calls reporting heavy smoke coming from the Grillo's property. At the scene, crews found several large, burning mulch piles approximately the size of a football field.
Firefighters required about 30,000 gallons of water to fully extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.
