Firefighters: Newtown house fire likely case of arson

Firefighters say a massive raging fire that gutted a vacant mansion in Newtown was most likely arson. The Stony Hill Fire Department tweeted pictures of the scene on Castle Hill Road yesterday.

Firefighters say a massive raging fire that gutted a vacant mansion in Newtown was most likely arson.
The Stony Hill Fire Department tweeted pictures of the scene on Castle Hill Road yesterday.
The 12,000-square foot house dates back to 1908 and had been appraised at more than $1.5 million.
Firefighters say the home had been boarded up for some time, and there was no electricity.
