Firefighters respond to house fire in Bridgeport

Multiple fire units were called to a home in Bridgeport Wednesday night after flames engulfed the residence.
It happened just after 8 p.m. on the 400 block of Poplar Street.
Residents were able to safely evacuate.
Firefighters were able to confine the flames to the back porch on the second floor.
