News 12 meteorologists say a weakening weather front will slowly move through the tri-state area today, bringing showers and a few thunderstorms.
Today will be mostly cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm, with temperatures in the mid-70s. Storms are expected to hit Connecticut between noon and 2 p.m.
Some of those storms may produce heavy rain capable of minor nuisance flooding, and gusty winds approaching severe limits.
