Former President Joe Biden was seen twice in Connecticut this week, marking his first public appearances since he announced his prostate cancer diagnosis.
Biden and former first lady Dr. Jill Biden dined at The Woodland Restaurant in Lakeville Thursday.
A post on the restaurant's Facebook page said the former president was "gracious and thoughtful in his conversations with staff and guests."
According to the post, the couple were in town to celebrate the graduation of one of their grandsons.
The former president was also seen at Bradley International Airport Friday.
In a video post to TikTok, he was seen shaking hands with some of the people who were waiting by their gates.
