Former UConn basketball coach Donald "Dee" Rowe, has died at 91.
Rowe mentored the likes of Jim Calhoun and Geno Auriemma.
Rowe was UConn’s coach from 1969-1977, leading the Huskies to the round of 16 in 1976.
He served as an assistant coach on the 1980 Olympic team, which never got to play because of the U.S. boycott in the Soviet Union.
