(AP) -- A lack of fuel at Connecticut's Bradley International Airport is being blamed for flight delays there.
Connecticut Airport Authority executive director Kevin Dillon says fuel that was supposed to be delivered to the airport in Windsor Locks on Wednesday afternoon didn't arrive because of a pump problem in New Haven.
Six flights were affected by low supplies. Some passengers say they waited up to 45 minutes. Some were left stranded in planes on runways.
Dillon says fuel is periodically delivered to the airport via a pipeline from New Haven. He says a company that operates a fuel farm in New Haven eventually delivered more fuel in trucks.
