A fundraiser was held tonight to help a Stamford police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty.
Fairway Market in Stamford held the event for officer Troy Strauser.
Strauser was injured in May when he fell from a bridge onto I-95 while chasing a robbery suspect.
Fairway donated 25 percent of sales made between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. to the Strauser family.
