Americans across the country celebrated one of our own joining the royal family overseas Saturday.
In celebration of the royal occasion, the Gaelic and Celtic Club of Stamford hosted a brunch with all things royal and British – fancy hats, finger sandwiches, tea and desserts.
Attendees received brunch and three hours of drinks for $40.

"She's American! She's bi-racial, she's divorced, she's a working woman,” said enthusiastic organizer Laura McGeachy. “And so that's even showing that the monarch has embraced inclusiveness."
