Cara Bebey, of Fairfield, was among a group of unfortunate drivers whose cars were stuck in the snow last week near the intersection of Morehouse Highway and Adley Road in Fairfield.

News 12 obtained a video of a Fairfield police officer arriving to the scene and sliding into stuck vehicles.

Then, Bebey says two young men helped mitigate a worsening problem – blocking traffic at the top of the hill.

Later that evening, Bebey gave her mother a debrief of the sequence of events. She says her mother took to a community Facebook group to give recognition and praise about what these two residents had done.

“These two kids put their cars at risk and then themselves at risk to come help us. For me, it put me at a lot of ease that these kids were willing to go out of their way to come and help us,” said Bebey.
