Easton fire officials say some good timing helped them put out a barn fire quickly Monday morning.
According to officials, when a homeowner on Stephneey Road went outside to shovel, he noticed his barn on fire. Officials say the sheep inside the barn were able to run out safely before the flames spread.
Firefighters say it only took about 15 minutes to put out the fire, but they still faced challenges in the snowstorm.
Officials say they needed to call in the Redding Fire Department for help.
