Gov. Dannel Malloy has signed an order to help protect the state should Ebola spread here.
The order gives state health officials the ability to quarantine people who may be exposed to, or infected with the virus.
Malloy says it is a precautionary and preparatory measure, and there are no suspected cases at this time.
He says he wants the state to be ready in an event that Connecticut has a confirmed infection, or that someone is at risk in the state.
