Gov. Lamont announced a new campaign by the Connecticut Department of Public Health to protect children from the harmful health effects of lead.
For a limited time, homeowners and landlords can get lead removed from siding and new paint for free.
The program is funded by $20 million from the federal American Rescue Plan Act
