One day after winning re-election to Connecticut's top political seat, Gov. Dannel Malloy identified economic growth, job creation and education as priorities for his second term.
The governor met with reporters Wednesday in Hartford after getting a concession call from Republican challenger Tom Foley.
Final numbers show Malloy took 51 percent of the vote, and Foley took 48 percent.
Malloy deflected a question about the closeness of the race, saying, "I didn't expect a hundred percent of the vote."
Asked about voter discontent, Malloy said, "We had four really tough years, we had to do some really hard things."
