Gov. Dannel Malloy provided updates today on Connecticut’s response to the Hurricane relief efforts happening in Puerto Rico.
The governor was joined by Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman and representatives of the United Way and the American Red Cross.
Malloy mentioned the state has to be receptive of the evacuees heading to the states.
Meanwhile, Sen. Richard Blumenthal is not pleased with President Donald Trump's latest comments on Puerto Rico.
The president recently came under fire for tweeting first responders cannot stay on the island forever.
Blumenthal called the action a form of betrayal.
