A popular New-York based supermarket chain is looking for hundreds of employees to help manage its first-ever Connecticut location.
“I think it’s going to be great for Norwalk,” store manager Emily Reynolds told News 12.
Wegmans says construction on the new 92,000-square-foot building on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk is on schedule.
The company is hosting an in-person hiring event on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 40 Richards Ave. in Norwalk.
“I truly think we are sourcing for around 500 positions,” Reynolds says. “I think the food experience and the culture that we’re going to bring is going to be a great thing for the community.”
The supermarket says you can apply
online or it will be accepting walk-in interviews on Sept. 24.
