The family of a Bridgeport man who was killed in a car accident this week spoke publicly for the first time Sunday about his death.
Loved ones came together on Lordship Boulevard in Stratford, where 21-year-old Dawaan Edwards was killed Friday.
Police say Edwards was a passenger in a car that somehow lost control and struck a tree.
Relatives say Edwards was devoted to his family and worked full-time as an appliance deliveryman for a local home improvement store.
Loved ones described him as "very respectful" and a "great man, great soul."
The family says the funeral for Edwards will take place next Saturday.
