FORECAST:
The weather remains tranquil heading into the weekend with warm temperatures and some sunshine.
The clouds will collect, and showers are likely for late Saturday into Sunday morning. Not much rain will fall, but our area could pick up about ¼ inch of rain.
The weather will clear Sunday, and temperatures will rise into the upper 70s.
Look for more clouds and humid weather early next week before a sharp cooldown arrives for the beginning of October.
TROPICS UPDATE: Hurricane Humberto has rapidly strengthened over the central Atlantic. It's forecasted to become a major hurricane later tonight. There is also another area of concern, closer to Cuba and the Bahamas. There is a 90% chance that this will develop into a storm soon. These storms may impact the weather near and along the East Coast next week.
