Going green paid off for a local company after CBS?s ?CSI: New York? asked to use the company?s environment-friendly motor oil.
When CBS approached Green Earth Technologies about weaving the company?s G-Oil into one of its crime-solving episodes, the Stamford company agreed.
A day after the show aired, the company had 250,000 CSI fans inquiring on the Internet about the motor oil, according to the company?s president Jeff Marshall.
Marshall says even weeks after the show, he hears people commenting that they saw G-Oil on CSI.
