Volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and Port 5 Naval Veterans Club came together in Bridgeport Saturday to build new homes for three veterans and their families.
Among the recipients is Army veteran Amodi Todd who will be moving into her new home with her husband and four children.
"It's a blessing, and it's ours," she says.
The duplex will also be handicapped-accessible for her husband, who is in a wheelchair.
The families are hoping to move into their new homes by September.
