Halloween took on a special meaning for a Greenwich boy who is fighting for his life.
News 12 Connecticut's Lena Salzbank spoke with Allyson Buck, who has used her woodworking skills to build elaborate costumes for her son, Sam, who has a terminal disease.
Sam Buck was diagnosed with an incredibly rare brain disease called vanishing white matter disease. There are said to be only 250 cases worldwide.
That’s why Allyson Buck makes a point to make sure Sam has head-turning costume at Glenville Elementary School.

“He gets a lot of attention for being in a wheelchair, but…on Halloween, kids look at him with envy," she says.
