Two trucks collided on I-95 Thursday, spilling insulated pipe and glue all over the road and closing down the interstate for hours.
Hazmat crews dressed in white sprayed foam on the road to remove the bonding agent that burst from a container on the pipe truck. Police say the driver of that truck fell asleep and rear-ended the tractor-trailer, which was carrying orange juice.
The accident occurred shortly before 5 a.m. near exit 41. Traffic was re-routed into neighboring Milford and Orange via Route One.
Traffic was backed up for miles as drivers tried to make their way around the chemical spill cleanup.
