Health officials in Connecticut say they found mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus in Fairfield.
It's the first positive mosquito identified in Fairfield this year but not the first in southwestern Connecticut.
Mosquitoes in Darien, Stamford, Easton, Bridgeport and Stratford were also found with the virus.
Officials say no people in the state have come down with the virus so far this summer.
