A hearing is expected later this week to decide whether or not the woman who was attacked by a pet chimpanzee in Stamford can sue the state for $150 million.
The chimpanzee mauled Charla Nash outside the pet owner's home in 2009. Nash had to undergo a face transplant and is still recovering from the attack.
Her lawyers argue that state and city officials knew the pet chimp was dangerous and didn't do anything about it. Nash will reportedly be in court Friday when a judge will review the lawsuit.
