Concerns over strong winds are fueling last-minute requests for tree trimming ahead of this weekend's snowstorm.
Tree-trimming companies were out in force Thursday as homeowners fear downed trees and power lines caused by snow and wind this weekend.
Celtic Tree and Landscaping Service owner Conal Breslin expects more calls over the next few days, but Breslin advises residents to avoid these rushed requests. Breslin says residents can do some minor pruning of their own.
"They should inspect the trees, you know, for cavities ... that kind of thing - where they could possibly break during a heavy winter storm," says Breslin.
