? Hundreds of people in Stamford attended a health fair Saturday, which provided them with much-needed care and information.
The free health fair was held at K.T. Murphy Elementary School in Stamford and offered free flu shots, yoga lessons, blood pressure tests, cholesterol tests and mammograms. Organizers say the fair offered uninsured residents an option to get essential health care.
In addition to the free services, adults and children were encouraged to participate in educational games and learn about healthy eating, exercise and safety.
Members of the parent teacher organization say more than 350 people attended the event.
