Several hundred teens participated in a massive cleanup of the shorelines and parks in southwestern Connecticut on Saturday.
The group, called Builders Beyond Borders, teamed up with the Rotary to hold the ?Make a Difference Day? and clean up nearly every town in Fairfield County.
But the teens will not stop with Connecticut. About 40 of them will head to the Dominican Republic next April to help build houses and schools. Saturday?s litter cleanup was just practice for the differences they will make abroad.
