The visit of Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton drew hundreds of people to a town hall forum in Hartford Monday.
Hundreds of people lined up early to get into Clinton's speech at The Learning Corridor. She focused on the economy as she campaigns in advance of the state's February 5 primary.
One of 22 states holding a presidential primary on February 5, Connecticut is considered a Clinton stronghold.
In a recent poll, she was supported by 41 percent of likely Democrats, compared to 27 percent for Senator Barack Obama and 9 percent for former Senator John Edwards.
The New York senator has been endorsed by The Hartford Courant, which calls her more experienced and better prepared than Obama.
