People in Norwalk are trying their luck before the start of the new year by playing the lottery with hopes of winning a $685 million jackpot.
A cashier at the Mobile gas station off North Avenue told News 12 Connecticut that over 60 people had stopped as of early Friday evening to buy their lottery tickets.
This is the largest jackpot since a $2 billion Powerball prize was won on Nov. 8 in California.
There's been 21 straight drawings without a jackpot winner, with the odds of winning at 1 in 303 million.
