Officials are investigating what caused a 28-foot boat to go up in flames while docked at a Bridgeport marina this weekend.
The Coast Guard says a boat was filled with about 130 gallons of gas when it caught fire early Sunday morning at Dolphin's Cove Marina. The fire caused minor damage to one other boat.
Officials say that any time fuel or chemicals are released into the water, they post an environmental risk. However, a no fishing ban has been posted.
The Coast Guard says the sun will help evaporate the remaining fuel in the water.
Assistant Chief William Hathaway says they are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
