Fairfield police have charged a Bridgeport man with breaking into cars outside a gym.
Police say Joel Lopez, 27, stole credit cards and other items from cars in the parking lot of the Edge Fitness Club on Kings Highway.
Authorities say they were able to track down Lopez when he used the cards.
Police say they have also charged a New Haven man in connection with the thefts.
