Monday marked the start of International Random Acts of Kindness Week, and a group of kids spent the day trying to complete as many kind acts as they could.
The kids were on a kindness scavenger hunt at the Trumbull Mall, trying to complete numerous acts of kindness to strangers.
Among the tasks on the list were to give someone a compliment and give someone a flower.
The kids also handed out "kindness matters" stickers. Their goal is to complete 4,000 random acts of kindness over the course of the week.
