More than 150 homeless people turned out in Bridgeport on Saturday for a free holiday meal.
The event was held at the Merton House on Madison Avenue. Organizers say it was one of the biggest turnouts they've ever seen for their annual holiday feast.
People from all over the community got a free holiday meal, along with a message about hope for the future.
Organizers say a central part of their mission is getting people off of the streets and into drug and alcohol treatment programs.
