New data released on Monday from the Connecticut Dept. of Consumer Protection showed combined sales for adult-use cannabis and medical marijuana totaled nearly $25 million in Oct. 2023.
Adult-use sales began Jan. 10, 2023 -- since then the adult-use market recorded more than $14.7 million in sales, while the medical marijuana market recorded $10.1 million in the same amount of time.
The state was able to collect this data through the Connecticut Seed-to-Sale Tracking System.
The DCP says information on cannabis sales is updated on or after the 10th of each month, with new data added as it becomes available.
