(AP) - A former actor on "The Sopranos" faces up to15 years in prison for a botched burglary in the Bronx in which anaccomplice shot and killed a police officer. A jury acquitted Lillo Brancato Jr. in the death of the policeofficer, but convicted him of attempted burglary. He could getcredit for time served during his sentencing scheduled for Friday.He has already spent nearly three years in jail. Prosecutors say the 32-year-old former actor and the accomplicewere looking for drugs when they broke into an apartment next doorto the officer's home. When the officer went to investigate, theaccomplice gunned him down. Steven Armento was convicted of first-degree murder and wassentenced to life in prison without parole.
