A Milford program is helping kids in need get ready to go back to school.
The Back to School Backpack Program is part of the Connecticut Department of Human Services and Salvation Army.
Organizers Christie Roche and Hillary Burr delivered some of the backpacks to Calf Pen Meadow Elementary today. The backpacks come loaded up with school supplies.
So far, the group has filled more than 300 backpacks.
