Local tax expert Roy Abramowitz shared financial tips about deductions as 2021 comes closer to an end.

He says if you're planning to make charitable deductions, make them before the end of the year.

He says that will increase your potential for having itemized deductions over and above the standard deductions.

"That'll be helped as the infrastructure bill that was just passed. They raised the SALT deduction cap, which was $10,000, up to $80,000, which means you can deduct of the state and local taxes and real property taxes up to $80,000," said Roy Abramowitz, financial expert.
