Taking your furry friend to the vet just got a little easier.
Vet Care Everywhere provides at-home veterinary care.
Founded in Connecticut, the clinic operates thanks to their community partners and team of volunteers.
"This is a critically needed community service. The rising cost of veterinary care right now and the difficulty of accessing it can be really limiting for a lot of people. That not only affects the pet's health, not being able to be protected from these preventable diseases, it can also affect the owner's health in that some of these diseases can be transported to people." says Dr. Nicole Sabo, the clinic's founder and lead veterinarian.
The clinic aims to help those who may have trouble accessing care.
"We primarily see a lot of seniors, veterans, and disabled people, people on fixed incomes. And so for that we offer essentially what your pet would need for the entire year for $60. At $60, you can get a physical exam for your pet, you can get a rabies or distemper vaccine, a heartworm test for a dog, and a general deworming treatment." says Sabo.
