A major milestone was achieved in Bridgeport where the city is turning the page from a troubled part of its past.
Construction has begun at the site of the former Marina Village housing complex in the city's South End.
The $27 million Windward Commons project will feature 54 townhouse style apartments.
It will also be home to a 7,000-square foot Southwest Community Health Center.
