Two Long Islanders are getting creative and proving that you don’t need snow to have fun with skis. Amanda Rynd and Jonathan Lederman are co-owners of "The Wedding Shot Ski." They make their shot skis inside their Oceanside workshop.
They make mini-shot skis for two people and large-shot skis for four people. Their custom wood shot skis are handmade, blowtorched, and engraved to order. After Amanda lost her job during COVID four years ago, she entered this creative business. She met Jonathan, and they are now business partners.
They have shipped their shot boards all over the country and Canada. The business has over 1,000 5-star reviews. Their shot skis can be made for any type of occasion. They have made them for corporate parties, college grads, retirees, and more. The Wedding Shot Ski has been featured in The Knot and Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine. Amanda and Jonathan have more creative projects in the works.
