There was major flooding on Westchester Avenue following the storm on Thursday.

The Department of Environmental Protection was seen cleaning up the floodwaters.

The flooding happened in front of the St. Mary's Houses. People who live in the area say they're worried for their neighbors' safety.

The DEP says its teams continue to respond across the city to address flooding reports and assist with drainage efforts.
