A school in Greenwich joined with town officials and Make-A-Wish Connecticut to grant a special wish to a 5-year-old boy.
Sam Buck is a student at Glenville Elementary School and suffers from a rare brain disease.
Sam started his day by being picked up at his home by a Ferrari and was escorted to school by a motorcycle motorcade.
Officials today granted his wish to go to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Texas.
They say Sam is going to get the chance to ride in a race car and meet some of the Formula 1 drivers.
Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei also declared today "Sam Buck Day" in town.
