Bridgeport police have made an arrest in connection with a series of car break-ins near the University of Bridgeport campus.
Police say 20-year-old Pharaoh Eaton was seen checking door handles and peering into cars with a flashlight on Atlantic Avenue early Saturday morning.
The arrest followed increased patrols in the area after an uptick in burglaries over the past three weeks.
