Man accused of crashing car, fleeing the scene in Bridgeport
Bridgeport police say one man is facing several charges this morning after he crashed his SUV into a wall and ran from the scene. Police say the accident happened on Boston Avenue near Seaview Avenue

Bridgeport police say one man is facing several charges this morning after he crashed his SUV into a wall and ran from the scene.
Police say the accident happened on Boston Avenue near Seaview Avenue Sunday morning.
They say the driver left his SUV and walked to his home in Stratford where police later arrested him.
Residents at the Boston Commons Apartment building say the SUV hit a brick wall, but fortunately did not go into any apartments.
Police say the driver hurt his head and was sent to the hospital.
They say no one inside the building was hurt.
