The Bridgeport man accused of murdering his parents went before a judge Wednesday, but has not entered a plea.
Kyle Navin is charged with killing Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin, of Easton.
The couple went missing in August and were later found buried outside a home undergoing renovations in Weston.
The arrest warrant states that surveillance video shows Kyle Navin and his girlfriend buying bleach and trash bags at a Home Depot, one day after the Navins disappeared. Navin's girlfriend is also facing charges.
Navin's lawyers say they are still deciding whether they want a probable cause hearing.
Navin is due in court again Jan. 20.
News 12 is told federal charges were dropped for Navin in connection to unrelated gun charges.
