Man arrested in Bridgeport double shooting
Police say 41-year-old Joshua Mercado, of Bridgeport, turned himself in to police Wednesday morning on a warrant charging him in a Jan. 28 double shooting that occurred in downtown Bridgeport.

4h agoPolice have made an arrest in a double shooting that happened in Bridgeport back in January.
Police say 41-year-old Joshua Mercado, of Bridgeport, turned himself in to police Wednesday morning on a warrant charging him in a Jan. 28 double shooting that occurred in downtown Bridgeport.
Authorities say an altercation began inside Elevate CT vape shop at 1219 Main St. and continued out into the street.
Mercado is a part-owner of the store and was working when the incident occurred.
He's charged with assault and several gun-related charges.
Bond was set at $400,000.
