Howell police say 18-year-old Jaden Thompson, of Freehold, attacked a woman who was walking with her 2-year-old in a stroller Nov. 17.
Thompson is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault.
Thompson is currently at the Ocean County Jail as of Nov. 29.
Jackson police say Thompson also faces attempted murder charges after stabbing an ex-girlfriend on Thanksgiving.
Through an extensive two-day search with the assistance of the US Marshals, he was located in Middlesex County and apprehended after a police chase that ended in a crash.
