Bridgeport police say a man struck by an SUV while in his motorized wheelchair Friday night has died.
Police say Richard Meldon, 59, of Bridgeport, was on Park Avenue when he was struck.
Police say they have not charged the driver, but they continue to investigate the accident. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call Bridgeport police.
