A West Haven man is due in court this morning for allegedly causing the death of a 5-month-old in Ansonia.
Police say Angel Luis Santiago, 35, turned himself to authorities yesterday.
Investigators say the boy died in June and Santiago was the only one at home with him.
Police have ruled the child's death a homicide.
Santiago has been charged with manslaughter and is being held on $1 million bond.
