A dispute escalated and turned fatal when a Bronx man was shot and killed Saturday morning, police say.
Friends of the 25-year-old victim say that he and another friend were confronted by two suspects when they stopped for something to eat about 5 a.m.
The two suspects fled the scene and their car was found up the road, police say.
The owner of the 24-hour mini-mart the victim entered ? at Morris Park Avenue and White Plains Road - says he heard some commotion outside the store.
?At first they were arguing, I heard the gun-like shootings and I called 911,? he said.
Police say they recovered a gun at the scene.
